About
He is a PhD candidate in Anthropology at the University of Florida. His research interests focus on Chinese Muslim and Chinese in Africa, including religious belief, education, marriage, ethnicity, and economy of Muslim people in China, as well as the social, political, economic, and cultural impact of Chinese on Tanzania.
Currently, he is working on his funding proposal which is about the socioeconomic development, intermarriage, and ethnicity of Muslim Hui in eastern China. He will conduct the major fieldwork in Henan and Anhui Provinces, China since the summer, 2010.
