About

In fall 2009 I began my PhD in Historical Musicology at the University of Florida. My area of interest is German/Austrian Modernism. At Florida I hope to further my studies of Alban Berg and his operas. I, however, enjoy following the spark that comes with interest in a new topic.

After finishing my masters degree at Bowling Green State University I obtained a full-time position in the Music Library. I utilized the library assistant skills I gained throughout both undergraduate and graduate degrees to grant a regular paycheck for the a short period of time.

In an effort to rescue my brain from the throws of academics, I dabble in photography. Capturing moments in everyday life helps me to see the detail in my surroundings.
